Seasons of Love Orlando Wedding Show

$post = get_post();

The Mission Inn Seasons of Love Orlando Wedding Show was held at the Mission Inn Resort on Sunday, July 8, 2018.

The showcase invited engaged couples to emerge themselves into the four seasons, with beautiful decorated areas representing spring, summer, winter and fall. All while mixing and mingling with some of Central Florida’s best wedding vendors.  This was the first event of its kind since 2015 and may have been the hottest Central Florida wedding showcase of the summer!  When doors opened, the event welcomed close to 100 couples along with their friends and family.

Before even walking through the front door, couples had the opportunity to stop by a beautiful carriage provided by SOUL Haven Ranch.  Upon check-in, brides received our new “INN LOVE” swag bags filled with goodies from all of the event’s creative partners.  The showcase began in the foyer, which was filled with our specialty vendors.

Gray Collective Bridal had a display of gorgeous wedding gowns along with options for the bridesmaids and mothers of the bride and groom.  Our friends at Omarvelous Productions made it possible for couples and their crew to make insanely fun slow-mo videos.

Two Peas Designs worked double duty, not only meeting with couples about the amazing custom stationary that they offer but also provided the Showcase with all of the beautiful stationary featured in each of the seasons.  If wedding planning had gotten you a little tense, the girls from Mission Inn’s Spa Marbella were there to help you relax and leave behind your every worry.

Everyone immediately reached for their phones to share photos of their pups with the team at FairyTail Pet Care to learn more about how they could include their fur babies in the wedding day.   For couples in need of an amazingly personalized officiant for their ceremony, they had to look no further than Lon Tosi with Sensational Ceremonies.

At Flawless Faces by Alicia, brides climbed into the director’s chair for complimentary mini-makeovers.  While nibbling on delicious handmade sugar cookies created by The Artful Flour, brides watched as Diana Crow with Diana Crow Live Event Painting created her masterpiece, hand painting the Resort’s iconic waterfall with everyone eagerly watching.   From there it was time to head into the Grand Ballroom and travel through the seasons.

Each couples started their journey into the seasons with fall.  Upon entering the room, the rich smell of nutmeg and cinnamon from the delicious freshly baked miniature pumpkin and pecan pies from Le Petit Sweet was the first thing that was noticed.

The room was filled with elegant deep colors of burgundy, hunter green and navy, and included gorgeous oak whiskey barrels and a handcrafted maple tree to complete the look, a design that was flawlessly put together by Megan and Morgan with Bella Sposa Events.

Cheryl with CDC Floral created a stunning centerpieces to compliment perfectly the look of the room, including all of the gorgeous texture and color you would expect in a fall floral arrangement and of course was sure to include sunflowers, a fall wedding must!

Mission Inn’s dedicated wedding catering team served bacon wrapped dates along with cranberry margaritas that guests nibbled on as they chatted with Elegant Entertainment, Patrick Buckley Images and Love and Lustre Weddings.

Moving into the winter season, the warmth of candlelight flickered upon the white shag carpet creating a cozy and intimate feel as you were absorbed in beautiful soft textured bright white filled room, as though it was a fresh fallen snow.

Rebekkah, Giana and Brooke with Runway Events worked flawlessly with Andi from Events by the Flower Studio to pull of this look.  Andi created floral for the room that was full of stunning greenery and red roses.

Jeff with White Rose Entertainment kept the winter fun and lively with his contagious personality while he chatted with couples about his DJ services.  We also cannot forget to mention the absolutely amazing cakes brought in by Cut the Cake, including a dazzling all white Eiffel Tower cake, which may or may not have been a foreshadowing of France’s World Cup Victory.

Miniature beef wellingtons paired perfectly with red sangria allowing a taste of winter as guests looked at the photography featured by Captured by Elle.

Glamourous floral arrangements in soft tones of pink, lavender and white created by the talented Flowers by Lesley filled the spring with an aroma as though you were walking through a country garden.  Christy and Laura with Anna Christine Events featured a light and bright tablescape with amazing height and the perfect pink napkin to pair with their elegant silver chargers and crystal glassware.

The whole room was really tied together by the perfect pink uplighting provided by Wendy and Les with Soundwave Entertainment.  The focal point of the room was definitely the stunningly elegant, all white cake created by Everything Cake.  Not a single person walked through spring without stopping at the sweets table created by Florida Candy Buffet; their French macaroons are to die for!

All those goodies still didn’t stop guests from sinking their teeth into Mission Inn’s famous pecan cream cheese filled strawberries or from enjoying a glass (or two) of mimosas.  Kellie and Lindsay with Live Happy Studio did a great job at keeping the room upbeat with their fun personalities and humor, along with their amazing photo and video skills.

Summer was the combination of Hawaiian vacation and fun, summer childhood memories.  Katie and Joe with Big Day Celebrations paired bamboo chairs with a white French country table and awesome green chargers to create a tropical tablescape.  The look was completed with giant leaf name cards and yummy summer popsicles to all that passed by.

Bluegrass Chic left us breathless with their big tropical floral pieces with great pops of fuschia, tangerine and yellow.  Our DJ Rocks kept the room moving with their great playlists and guests snapped photos at the super fun mirror photobooth by Our Photobooth Rocks.

Summer was the perfect season for Rhodes Studios to feature their elegant and timeless photography style.  The caprese skewers and sweet tea vodka and Lemonade provided by Mission Inn were definitely a favorite but we have to say that the tropical hand-painted cakes created by Sugar Sugar Cake Boutique really take the cake for their whimsical, fun-loving style.

The show came to a close with a raffle drawing with tons of different date night prizes.  When bride to be, Jessica, found out that she had won one of two Grand Prize stay-cations at Mission Inn Resort, she jumped for joy at her win.  She is currently on the hunt for the perfect Orlando Wedding Venue and fell in love with the Mission Inn’s Marina Del Ray earlier that day when she joined one of the group tours offered by the wedding sales team.

The second grand prize winner, Michelle, had just become a newly booked Mission Inn bride earlier that month and was so excited to use her prize to test out all of the wedding weekend fun that Mission Inn has to offer prior to her wedding day.

Heading out the door, couples kept stopping to tell us how much fun they all had.  Everyone loved the intimacy of the event and the fact that you had time to actually talk to vendors without feeling rushed.

The success of this event would not have been possible without all of the amazing vendors that participated and especially without the help of our vendor partners.  Without them, the event would not have happened.

Over the Top Linen provided every single piece of linen that was featured throughout the event to us.  The team at A Chair Affair brought the beautiful furniture, chargers, flatware and china that were showcased in each room to us.

Grand Rental Station’s team created the four seasons for us by separating our ballroom by their fabulous pipe and drape.  Last, but not definitely not least, thank you DR Photography for capturing every moment of this event and allowing us to share all of the great photography featured throughout.

The event was such a great success that we are already starting to plan for 2019 with great surprises to come for the future.

If you are currently in search of a Central Florida wedding venue and weren’t able to make it to our showcase, it’s okay!  Whether you’re looking for a beautiful garden wedding ceremony, a rustic lakeside reception or stunning old-world European glam for your big day, it’s all here for you.
