Looking for a unique treat for Dad on Father’s Day in Lake County? We’ve got two great ways to celebrate dear old Dad at Mission Inn Resort — a trap and skeet special event on Saturday, June 15, and the Father’s Day Grand Brunch Buffet on Sunday, June 16.
Dads can test their marksmanship Saturday morning with a round of 25 shots during the 9:30-11:30 a.m. event and then relax afterward at Nickers Restaurant over lunch — it’s included, and comes with a domestic draft beer or soft drink! The Father’s Day Trap & Skeet with Lunch package is available for $50 per person, plus tax. Sons and daughters ages 12 to 18 can participate for $40 each. To reserve space for this special event, call (352) 268-9574.
On Sunday, raise a toast to Dad at the special Father’s Day Grand Brunch Buffet. Endless sparkling wine is included with brunch, and so are domestic beers for all dads!
Dad will indulge in hearty selections such as slow-roasted New York strip steak with peppercorn sauce from the chef’s carving station and smoked pork loin with a sweet bourbon barbecue sauce. Accompaniments planned with Dad in mind include beef and cheddar cheese beer soup, Chef Ed’s famous chili, and green bean casserole. There also will be many tempting desserts for Dad to enjoy, including Mission Inn bread pudding with bourbon sauce!
The Father’s Day Grand Brunch Buffet will be served from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The cost is $49.99 per guest, plus tax and service charge, $22.99 for children ages 5-12, and free for children 4 and under.
