Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla. (Nov. 22, 2016)Michelle K. Norvé, C.E.C., has joined Mission Inn Resort & Club as head chef at La Hacienda restaurant. Bud Beucher, Mission Inn vice president and general manager, announced the addition of Norvé, who has 26 years of experience in the culinary and hospitality industries.

Norvé, graduate and Valedictorian Summa Cum Laude, Associate of Science of Culinary Arts at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts, in Miramar, Fla., is a classically trained chef and instructor, sanitation and nutrition professional, cost control and menu/service expert.  At Mission Inn, she will hold a culinary leadership position that will allow her to motivate and train employees to excel and thrive.

Prior to joining Mission Inn, Norvé was a chef instructor, Bleu Ribbon Kitchen Coordinator, certified Serv-Safe instructor/proctor at Florida’s Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts.

Previously, Norvé was the executive chef, trainer and consultant at FoodWorks International, Miramar, Fla.; Fairmont at Turnberry Isle Resort and Club, Aventura, Fla., and Captain’s Restaurant and Market, Florida City, Fla.

Her culinary awards and memberships include Certified Executive Chef, American Culinary Federation, National Winner, Emmi Roth WWMB Cheese4Chefs Competition, American Culinary Federation, American Culinary Federation competitions, two time medalist, and S Pellegrino Almost Famous Chef Finalist.
