Thank you for your support of the second annual Mission Inn Resort & Club Championship. The awareness of this event expanded even further in Central Florida this time around. With more people in attendance than last year’s event, the championship tournament was a great success.

Support from the local community and sponsors like Keiser University College of Golf, Inova International, Advent Health, and Visit Lake County Florida made it possible for us to host such a prestigious tournament.

Min Lee was named the champion of the event, claiming her third Symetra Tour victory on Sunday, May 30. She finished -8 overall, her final round of 1-under 72 helping her succeed.

This championship was a result of a lifetime of work by the Beucher family who own Mission Inn Resort. They have taken great pride in making the historic 104-year-old El Campeón and Las Colinas courses a world-class golf experience.

They hope that hosting this level of play inspires young people to try the sport and witness first hand that, with dedication and effort, it is possible to pursue your dreams. That mindset was shared by the 144 young golf professionals vying to make it onto the LPGA Tour.  

The Beuchers have been supporting the nonprofit Lake County Junior Golf Association in Central Florida for decades to introduce young people to the game of golf. Some proceeds from the Mission Inn Resort & Club Championship will be donated to the organization, which will offer free golf clinics over the summer to inspire local kids.

This event also helps spread the word about our amazing resort to people who might consider visiting or staying with us throughout the year, even non-golfers!
