It’s Time to Wine!

Wine pairing dinners are starting again at Mission Inn Resort! You won’t want to miss the first of these immensely popular dinners on Saturday, April 17, when California winemaker Rich Hartenberger joins the talented culinary team at Mission Inn to present what promises to be an outstanding evening of fabulous food and wine.

Hartenberger, the owner and winemaker at Midnight Cellars vineyards and winery in Paso Robles, is bringing limited-edition red and white wines for this special event. Our chefs will pair these exquisite wines with gourmet dishes prepared especially for the evening.

The five-course meal begins with porcini mushroom ravioli paired with Midnight Cellars Chardonnay and progresses to an elegant entree: dual-plated cornbread-stuffed boneless quail with a natural au jus and a venison loin brulee, paired with Midnight Cellars Zenith Cuvee. Dessert is warm apple strudel served with Hannah & Joe’s Gemini Port. See the complete menu here.

This unique culinary event is priced at $99 per person, plus tax and service charge. Call (352) 324-3930 to reserve seating for the five-course wine pairings dinner.

Next month Mission Inn will host a craft spirits dinner! Mark your calendars now for this special event on Saturday, May 15, featuring handcrafted selections from Marlin & Barrel Distillery in Fernandina Beach. Reserve before April 15 and save $10 per person! See details and the pairings menu here.

  1. April 14th is not on Saturday for the wine dinner, did you mean the 17th?
