The new year is in full swing and so are golf events at Mission Inn! We already have hosted the Latinoamerica Q School and are now hosting the Mackenzie tour, the Canadian Q School, in early March. The top 10 finishers in these two events qualify to compete on the PGA tour in Latin American countries and in Canada, respectively. The qualifying schools are in addition to 40 other golf events being held at Mission Inn in the first quarter of 2019, and more are on the way as we move through Florida’s warm winter and lovely early spring months.
Upcoming golf events will bring collegiate, corporate and buddy groups from up and down the Eastern Seaboard to Mission Inn. Return visitors include the George Mason Spring Fling Invitational that will bring college players to Mission Inn for the seventh year on March 16-17, and the Horizon League Championships will bring golfers from Cleveland State (men) and Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (women) to the resort in April. Corporations holding golf events at Mission Inn this year include a large group from Pro Image Sports, a major retailer of licensed team apparel and accessories. And lots of groups of friends are returning to or experiencing Mission Inn’s championship golf courses for the first time – but probably not the last!
