On Saturday, Oct. 16, listen to live rock music and watch colorful sea planes land on the lake in Tavares as the Monster Splash Seaplane Fly-In and Rocktoberfest are held simultaneously. The marina will also hold its grand opening ceremony, so come out for three fun events!

Did someone say BBQ and chili? There’ll be a chili cook off and then a BBQ contest in Clermont on Oct. 15 and 17, respectively, during the Pig on the Pond community festival. There are also carnival rides, a kids’ zone, live music and much more at Clermont’s beautiful Waterfront Park that weekend.

The Mount Dora Craft Fair will be held Oct. 23 and 24, featuring hundreds of talented artists and crafters from across the country who will have booths set up along the streets of historic downtown Mount Dora. The two-day event will include entertainment and lots of goodies to taste.
