As members and guests of Mission Inn Resort & Club know, we love celebrating the holidays at the resort. Hosting Christmas brunch and dinner for many families, watching warm memories being made, is a joy for our family-owned business.

What people might not know are some of the resort’s annual Christmas traditions out in the community!

At the Howey-in-the-Hills Christmas Parade on December 11, Bud and Jane Beucher were Masters of Ceremonies and have been for many years. They had a lot of fun announcing the floats coming down the main road while the community cheered and participated in the festivities.

Mission Inn Resort & Club is honored to be a sponsor of the annual Christmas Parade. As part of a small town, we love supporting and taking part in events that bring the whole community together.

For more than five years, Mission Inn has also been thrilled to host the Lake Hills Christmas Party in Howey-in-the-Hills. This year’s party took place on December 15 at the Lake Hills School. The school’s vision is to foster a school culture that believes all students can learn and that possibilities are endless.

This annual Christmas party began at the resort years ago but has since moved to the school to be an easier access point for students. The event was enjoyed by 140 students this year with a goal of reaching 240 students in 2022! Mission Inn staff had fun working the face painting station and dancing with students and family. We were pleased to be able to provide food and a camera booth for the kids as well.

While we continue celebrating our annual traditions, Mission Inn Resort & Club wishes to remind families, members and guests alike, to come check us out for the holidays! Our four on-site restaurants have something for everyone this Christmas and New Year’s.
