Mornings just got a little brighter at Mission Inn Resort! Our popular breakfast buffet is open again at La Hacienda based on demand and occupancy with some modifications to safeguard guests’ health. Social distancing markers, control barriers, and Plexiglas partitions are in place, and staff members wearing masks and gloves plate guests’ food selections.

Guests can request made-to-order omelets, eggs, waffles, and pancakes from the chef, then move on to separate cold and hot stations where staff members serve guests’ choices. The buffet is stocked with an assortment of fresh fruits and yogurt and breakfast favorites such as scrambled eggs, breakfast meats, grits, potatoes, oatmeal, and warm pastries.

This is the first step in Mission Inn’s responsible reopening of its beloved buffets, doing so slowly and carefully in stages. The resort also is starting a carved prime rib buffet on Saturday nights and a modified Sunday brunch buffet with bottomless house champagne, both at La Hacienda. Over time, the Saturday night buffet will be expanded to more closely resemble Mission Inn’s traditional Saturday night Sushi, Crab Legs & Prime Rib Buffet, and the Sunday brunch eventually will be enhanced. The lunch buffet also is returning this month!

La Hacienda also is open for sit-down meals from the menu with limited seating in accordance with coronavirus prevention guidelines. Take-out orders are available from our menus, posted at missioninnresort.com/dining.
