An explosion of color is taking place at Mission Inn Resort this spring! Beautiful flowering trees, bushes, and plants splash the expansive property with brilliant hues for everyone to enjoy. All around the hotel, restaurants, and golf courses, views of vibrant blossoms in shades of red, pink, purple, and yellow are a feast for the eyes.

Familiar beauties such as azalea, hibiscus, and petunias are readily recognizable. But our guests often ask about some specimens less familiar to them that thrive here in Central Florida’s humid subtropical climate. One such beautiful tree that prompts frequent questions is the showy tabebuia. You’ll see several of these colorful ornamental trees in all of their splashy yellow or lavender splendor around the Mission Inn property.
