Capt. David Kidd, that is. He is the new marina captain and dock master at Marina del Rey, Mission Inn Resort’s private facility on beautiful and expansive Lake Harris. Capt. Kidd is a Central Florida native who has spent most of his life in the boating industry. He is a knowledgeable and experienced captain, and has navigated throughout the Harris Chain of Lakes for many years.
Come say hi to Capt. Kidd and see all that Marina del Rey has to offer. The marina has 55 slips, accommodates boats up to 20 feet, and has water and electric hookups. Guests can rent one of Mission Inn’s pontoon or bass boats, or bring their own, to enjoy spending time exploring Lake Harris and beyond. The pontoon boats carry up to 10 people, so bring the family!
Spend a day tooling around the lake or dock at a nearby waterfront restaurant for lunch. There are more than 80,000 acres of waterways to explore on the Harris Chain of Lakes. Want to fish? Marina del Rey also rents fishing equipment or anglers may feel free to bring their own tackle.
