Historic Orlando Golf Resort

historic orlando golfThe early settlers of Howey-in-the-Hills found wonderous natural beauty in the shade and shadows of mature oaks, pines and palms. At Mission Inn, we honor these founders with the historic El Campéon Course and its 85 feet of elevation changes - testing you like no other course in Florida. You will also note our dedication as you play through the wide-open fairways and gentle rolling hills of the Las Colinas Course. These two courses were designed with an appreciation of their natural environment. You revere it in the sparkle of the Florida sun on ever-present ponds and creeks and in the sight of an osprey soaring overhead. The El Campéon and Las Colinas courses settle right in to the Old-Florida landscape.

These are no cookie-cutter courses.

Only 35 minutes from downtown Orlando, the courses at Mission Inn have earned their share of accolades from Golf Digest to Zagat.

And so we support our Orlando golf enthusiasts with amenities that matter to you. Take advantage of our full practice facility, golf academies and pro shop; relax in our clubhouse lounge, restaurant or spa. We have a hospitable staff ready to host you and knowledgeable PGA professionals waiting to help lower your score.

We also offer lodging, meeting services and endless activities on-property, including a marina on expansive Lake Harris. Mission Inn and Howey-in-the-Hills share a long, rich history. We sincerely hope you join us in the future of Mission Inn Golf.

Tournaments & Outings at Mission Inn

At the core, it's our finesse with planning and hosting seamless, productive, memorable events. The proof is in the industry accolades we've earned, our client testimonials and attention to detail: more on all of that here.

But let's cut to the chase: You want to golf. After all, balancing work with play is just good business.

Mission Inn Resort gives you two distinct courses: historic El Campéon and inviting Las Colinas. Play them both and you won't play the same thing. For that matter, play them both and you won't play the same thing elsewhere in Florida. That's courtesy of El Campéon's dramatic 85-foot elevation change and Las Colinas' rolling terrain.

Randall Noonan, our friend and former golf pro, liked to say, "You may prefer one of our courses over the other. But either way, you're going to have a good time." You might even improve your game. Our full practice facility, Mission Inn Golf Academy and teaching pros can help you achieve that – ask us about planning a clinic for your group. (Speaking of pros, our full-service pro shop plans and hosts golf tournaments for groups year 'round. Ask us about that, too.)

Golfing aside, there are other perks golf group travelers appreciate about Mission Inn Resort: proximity to Orlando (our location 35 minutes northwest of the city gives you easy access to the Orlando International Airport, theme parks, shopping and endless possibilities for side-trips to surrounding small towns); Spa Marbella, where lounges, steam rooms and signature services cater to men, women and couples; a recreational array that can take you from playing tennis to walking nature trails to boating or fishing on Lake Harris; and accommodation choices ranging from executive suites to golf villas – all with a personal approach that comes with being a family-owned-and-operated business for close to 50 years.
